E-Mail: n.buckbeakbabie@hotmail.com Fandom: RENT, the musical. Character: Mimi Marquez, Alternate version Description: They say that she has the best ass below 14th Street. And it's true. She long brown hair and brown eyes. She's 20 years old, but looks a couple of years younger. She doesn't act it though, especially not recently. She's just been through rehab, and withdrawal, and is looking a lot better, but she looks like she could do with a few square meals. She wears short skirts, boots, clingy tops. When she's working: black leather and lace. And not a lot of it. Fandom: RENT, but AU Point of Cannon : Alternate universe. History: This Mimi, she knew a Roger who was never clean. April tried to slit her wrists, but was found, and she later left him for The Man, after a huge and explosive row. Mimi and Roger still met on Christmas Eve, when Mimi asked him to light her candle. She came back later, wanting Roger to take her out, but he pushed her away, not knowing that she had AIDS, and thinking that he couldn't allow himself to get close to her. He later apologised, but asked her if they could take it slow. But he opened up a lot more when he found out about her illness, and they shared a quiet moment in the snow. They were evicted from their building, but Mimi had access to the Cat Scratch Club, where she danced, and they were able to hang out there temporarily. And it provided many interesting opportunities. But Mimi eventually decided she should talk to Benny, their landlord, her ex, and an ex roommate of Rogers. It went well, but when Roger found out he was less than impressed, still smarting over April's betrayal. But Mimi convinced him that she wouldn't do that to him. (And especially not with Benny.) They were both using pretty much constantly while they were together. They had arguments, of course, but nothing huge. Their relationship grew, but never lost it's spark. In May, their friend Tom Collins died. In June, Roger OD'd. She was forced to say goodbye. And learn to live without him. Traits: Mimi is HIV+. She's only very recently finished going through withdrawal. Mimi is bright, and tries as best she can to be optimistic.
